Terms of Use

Effective date: June 27, 2026

These Terms are an agreement between you and Isaiah Abraham (a sole proprietor doing business as “Spoken Guidance,” “we,” “us”) for your use of the Spoken Guidance app, website, newsletter, and related services (the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the Services.

1. Who can use the Services

You must be at least 13 years old. If you’re a minor where you live, you need a parent or guardian’s permission. By using the Services you confirm the information you give us is accurate.

2. What Spoken Guidance is — and is not

Spoken Guidance helps you read Scripture by opening a passage chosen for the season you share. It is a tool that points you to the Bible and to God; it does not claim to know you, diagnose you, or speak for God.

3. Your account

Keep your login secure; you’re responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at support@spokenguidance.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and payment

• The core of Spoken Guidance is free. A premium subscription unlocks three study plans at once, search by theme, and deeper Bible learning inside your study plans.
• We offer a 3-day free trial to new subscribers. Unless you cancel before it ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown.
• Billing is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play — not by us directly. Your subscription auto-renews (monthly or annually, per your choice) until you cancel.
• To manage or cancel, use your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• Refunds are handled under the Apple/Google store policies; we generally cannot issue refunds directly.
• Prices may change; we’ll give notice as required, and changes won’t affect the period you’ve already paid for.

5. Acceptable use

Please don’t: break the law; misuse, disrupt, or attempt to breach the Services; reverse-engineer or copy the app except as the law allows; resell or commercially exploit the Services or their content; scrape or use automated means to access the Services; or harass our team or other users.

6. Our content and intellectual property

The Services — software, design, text, graphics, the Spoken Guidance name and logo — are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for your own, non-commercial use.

Scripture quotations are drawn from multiple translations. The Berean Standard Bible (BSB), World English Bible (WEB), and King James Version (KJV) are in the public domain. Additional translations may be offered over time under license from their respective publishers and remain the property of those publishers. Full attributions appear on our Licenses page.

7. Your content

You keep ownership of what you share (your seasons, reflections, answers, messages). You grant us a limited license to use it only to operate and improve the Services for you (including processing it to generate your readings, as described in our Privacy Policy). We don’t claim ownership of your reflections and we don’t sell them.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect and how we use it. By using the Services, you agree to it.

9. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we don’t warrant the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any reading is suited to your particular circumstances. See Section 2 — the Services are not professional or crisis care.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Spoken Guidance and its operator won’t be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 6 months before the claim, or $39.99 USD. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

You may stop using the Services and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Services, and Sections that by nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, governing law) will survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law rules. Before filing anything, you agree to first try to resolve a dispute with us informally by emailing legal@spokenguidance.com; we’ll do the same. Any unresolved dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Kings County, New York, unless your local consumer law requires otherwise.

14. Apple & Google

If you use the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable store’s terms also apply, the store is not responsible for the app, and the store is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce these Terms against you with respect to your use of the app.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; if changes are material, we’ll give notice in the app or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the Services means you accept the updated Terms.
